Love how you chose to do these intros. It’s a time-saver on pg7 but it absolutely works to set the focus on the arrivals instead. It’s almost of benefit that she’s identical in every shot while the arrivals are presented. Almost has a rhythm to it. Plays like a clip. (If the ding-dong script wasn’t there it would NOT work - but it is, so it does, and you were correct to recognize the comedy in that.)
It also sets up and pays off in pg8 - because she was static like that in pg7.
In fact, both those pages pay the “danger” off in pg9. ‘Oh wait, these guys are different. This kinda shit, she ain’t prepared for.’ Bingo.
That’s not accidental story-telling. It could be far more generic than that but you put the effort in to tell it more dramatically - through subtlety.
And I can’t wait to watch this party go bonkers…
