We're almost there! I have about 80 - 90% of the still images rendered, post processed and ready to go, this includes all the animations that are layered still images and moved like the blanket throw animation I uploaded months ago. Even though technically these are animations, I'm counting these as still renders. When I count animations they'll be actual rigged model animations like this image above.
I have about 50% of animations rendered but this is only because I'm working in stages and have saved the animation rendering until last. I'll knock out the other 50% in no time as those scenes are basically already built anyway. I do still need to post process the animations though so any that you've seen so far will most likely look a little more polished in the game.
I'm really starting to get the hang of blender and its animation process, there's no way I would have been able to create this particular movement as fluid as this in Daz without days or even weeks of frustration with its broken animation tools (ie: completely fucked IK solving). Combine this with what I'm learning in compositing software "Nuke" and also starting to learn "Houdini", I'm excited about the future animations I'll be able to create for the game. It'll mean higher quality and a faster workflow all around.
Full HD video of above GIF animation can be found here, you might need to copy and paste entire link instead of just clicking the link:
