Quick game update

So now we're getting close to 1st version release I just want to show (without giving away the story or spoilers) how much I've been putting into this. I don't do things half assed, I want this to be a knockout of a v0.01 and set the stage for much bigger things to come. There's 10 Acts in the release. I was going to release it at 5 acts but the story actually rewinds on itself (kind of like a flashback) before continuing in a new location.
To avoid any confusion and to just get that whole part of the story out in the first release I had to continue past 5 acts so it would come full circle (you'll get what I mean when you play it). Now these folders are for renders only, keep in mind the first version will not be 14GB and will not be 3,800+ individual renders.
It'll be optimized, there'll be a full HD version, a compressed version for those with slower internet and lower data plans and there will also be an android version. Each scene or image is about 3 renders (give or take) as they are layered animations, but these folders also contain individual animation frames from the actual realistic animations (each of these animations are anywhere from 30 to 300 frames long).
So you could easily divide the current file count by 4 (which is still massive for a 1st release, I'm told 200 renders is the norm from the coder I'm using) before having an idea how many scenes there'll be, or what the equivalent single render count would be if I were not doing animated scenes. But they are animated so automatically way more fuckin awesome :p haha.
I'm still making a preview video which will just be a mish-mash of various scenes and animations, I'm trying to find that balance of showing some good previews while not showing the best stuff or any spoilers so the game ends up being more enjoyable, maybe I'm overthinking this part though lol.
Obviously a first release takes longer than the rest because of all the asset set ups, learning blender for the animating while keeping consistency and getting the workflow figured out for everything to fall into place but updates will be much easier because I've laid a solid foundation.

(Edit: it could just be my phone but it seems to cut half the image off on mobile compared to desktop view?)

Cheers,
DA.

Thanks man! Its definitely a lot more work than I anticipated but I'm getting a good workflow implemented. Plus it helps a TON that I'm getting someone else to program it, I'd be lost if I had to learn coding as well lol.

Looking forward to playing it. Seems like a lot of skill and work but from the looks of it you've got things under control.
