March '25 recap, April '25 plans

It's April!

In March, I released:

• The Thaumaturge, Chapter 7

• A Summer Obsession, a sponsored story that features Jason (from An Unexpected Summer) and Allie (from Extra Credit)

• Dungeon Mistress: Session 3, the Reader choice from February

• The Thaumaturge, Chapter 8

• The Thaumaturge, Chapter 9 (posted yesterday -- this one was a sponsored chapter. You can still go vote in the poll once you're caught up, it's an important poll!)

All told, that's a productive 44k words released this month -- by far my most productive month yet, but I think that mostly reflects it being a month with five Mondays, and sticking to my planned weekly release schedule.

Admittedly, it's also a lot easier to write multiple chapters of the same series than to jump between different series, so the sheer quantity of Thaumaturge writing probably helped with my output a great deal. That'll be something to think about as I wrap up some of the series I've got active currently.

For April, you can expect:

The Reader poll from March was a tie, and -- while I can't make a habit of this -- I'm going to try to write both of the winners this month. There's a chance that one of the reader choices will end up getting released the first week of May instead, depending on how quickly writing on this stuff and some other projects progresses.

• A stand alone story about a bully who unexpectedly runs into the mother of one of his victims...who gets some revenge on him. (one of the Reader poll-winners)

• A Hospital Stay, Part 6 (the other Reader poll-winner)

• Dungeon Mistress: Session 4 (in which the gang heads to the Arcanatrix's sanctum!)

• The Thaumaturge, Chapter 10

The exact order of things may shift, obviously.

Bonus for Readers:

For those of you subscribed at the $3/mo tier, I'm planning to go back through one of my first stories ever, The Masseuse, and lightly edit the chapters, posting them here for paid members. These won't be complete rewrites or contain major revisions, but I've had more than one sponsored story idea that includes characters from The Masseuse, and I've always been meaning to bring over the series to Patreon eventually anyway, so it's a good reason to get started.

I'll probably get them edited and posted here in batches of 3-4 chapters every couple of weeks; maybe faster, maybe slower, depending on how much time editing is taking and how ahead of schedule I am on actual new writing; releasing new stuff is going to take priority, of course.

The first three edited chapters will go live later this week, probably on Thursday, to space it out a bit from my usual Monday releases. Enjoy!
