April '25 recap, May '25 plans

It's May!

First, just want to thank folks for their patience early last month as I navigated the Patreon content filter suddenly flagging a bunch of stuff. I've still got one story that's not available (The Therapist part 5 seems stuck in content review limbo, sadly; I'll figure it out eventually or take the risk of reposting it to see if I can get it unstuck) but otherwise everything that got flagged ought to now be resolved.

With that, on to the recap and plans:

In April, I released:

35k words of releases! Not half bad. I also got a couple sponsored stories drafted that'll eventually get released, too.

For May, you can expect:

The exact order of things may shift, obviously, and depending on how long it takes to write Dungeon Mistress: Session 5 -- which I'm expecting to be a bit of a behemoth, but we shall see -- I may bump A Hospital Stay into early next month and release a sponsored story instead.

Also, I mentioned this in a comment last month, but reiterating it here for visibility: I've got a few too many balls in the air at the moment, series-wise. My plan for the next few months is to try to make sure I'm working towards wrapping up Dungeon Mistress, A Hospital Stay, and The Therapist with any open weekly release slots -- all of them are reasonably close to conclusions and they'll help clear the decks for The Thaumaturge (which, honestly, I feel like is just now starting to hit its stride!) and Speedrunner, which is going to be far more experimental in tone. Speedrunner may be a longer series, or just be a short arc -- we'll see how the reception is and how much I feel like it 'works' as a concept overall once I'm in the thick of it.

To be clear, the pace of my writing shouldn't change, but my goal is really to try to be focusing on 1-2 open longer-term projects at any given time, as opposed to the four series that are currently active.

Also -- when I post the Dungeon Mistress finale, I'll probably also put up a Q&A/AMA post with some summary wrap-up thoughts, what I thought worked well, what didn't, etc.

Thanks for supporting me.

Looking forward to everything coming. I must say, the Thaumaturge series is unmatched. The cliffhangers are VERY effective. Also, really anticipating the Speedrunner series. The plot sounds very well put together and I’m sure your writing will continue being top tier. Thank you for your work!
