Here we go... first attempt at a Post-Apocalyptic setting... Not quite fallen skyscrapers, as I am not sure I can fit them into a battlemap... we shall see. for this one I was inspired by a photo of flood-waters running over a washed out road and figured that a stream, previously forced into a channel, may have broken its banks and is now flowing through the streets and building rubble, trying to find where it used to run...
It is a fairly shallow stream, so crossing should not be tooooo difficult ... but there are some rubble 'stepping stones' in the NE just in case it is really deep - just watch out for the one that looks like a sea-saw, it might break if you overweight it! There is a pile of rubble behind a wall in the SE that could be climbed up as a look-out and plenty of other hiding spots. There is a clear area in the NW that is still paved with the original floor that is a good spot to camp if you can ram the pegs in between the tiles, and in the SW corner.. is that a veggie garden hidden in a small clearing? I wonder how long folk have been living here or are they just passing through? Are they still around?
For Navigators, there are also night & 'no campsite' versions as well as some without the city streets and dead cars ... just some overgrown dirt roads in case you want to use it for a 'less modern' setting :-)
