Hiya Everyone … It is Spring here in the antipodes and I have once again been mentally-spring cleaning & re-calculating how to keep creating the maps I love and fit them in around my currently unpredictable life (being basically homeless & doing random house-sitting is not conducive to regular hours)…

The Short cut:

• I am changing how my Patreon page works to hopefully suit my creativity method and unpredictable life better
• I will be changing to per-month rather than the per-release it is now
• There will be only 1 public tier (AUD$5)- a new one with rewards on a more ad-hoc basis of more some months and less in others - details below
• Current tiers will be archived and all re-priced to AUD$4 for existing members who wish to remain signed up - with the same rewards as the new Tier. 
• First monthly charge will happen at the beginning of October.

The long Ramble Through the Weeds:

Not only is my life unpredictable, but it has taken a while for me to figure out (yeah-yeah, call me slow on the uptake!) that my creative work/inspiration method just does not work with the way I have set up the subscription tiers here on Patreon. I thought that by giving myself a narrower focus (city maps only), that it would keep me on track. But nope. It just stresses me out and makes me feel trapped.
It's my own fault for not learning from the past....
I have always had the best motivation and drive when free to explore and be inspired... Perhaps I am a bit of a flibbertigibbet, Perhaps the creative juice slopping around in my head has too many random ingredients and spice. Who knows? It just seems that I am the type of creator that works better when left unbound by expectations - even self-imposed ones!

So, over the next few days I am going to be making a few changes here again. More drastic this year. 

I will be dropping down to one tier only and switching to per-month rather than per-release with zero promises of actual regular content.
Tier rewards will not be set in stone and there will not even be a set rewards expectation per-month - Some months there might be more, other months less ... 

“YIKES!” You think? “What is the point of sticking around now? …Misjay has lost her mind…. I am out of here before the chaos monsters start roaming around!”

If you have been here just to collect the maps and variations that I have been releasing as paid content, or the new tier price does not work for you and will now need to leave… All good, I completely understand and you have my blessing & thanks for all your support past, present and future…
you will still be more than welcome in the public area of my Discord....

For those of you who decide to stay (and for new folk)…

You know that I am often randomly inspired and like to make little experiments, maps, illustrations or work on collaborations with others…
All those will still continue to happen. Just as randomly as usual - sometimes more, sometimes less...
This month there will be a bunch of shield item-art that are in progress, & also another Collaboration with Jog Brogzin 

You will continue to have access to private Patreon-only Discord channels if you choose - see work in progress, be able to contribute ideas to current and future work, share your own if you wish & get help with your own mapping if you want it.

Also, whenever I do release a larger map set in my shop, you will receive access to 1-2 variations of it at full resolution (140dpi for battlemaps) & a discount code for the full pack in my shop for those that like to have all the variations (larger discount than through the newsletter).
This month there will be the 4-level battlemap of an old church turned in to a library - it is finished, I just need to export all the variations. 

And maybe a few other interesting things that I have on my ideas list but don’t want to make promises about just yet ;-)

So what is the nitty-gritty? 

The new public Tier amount will be AUD$5 per month - no idea what that is in other currencies yet - No idea what to call the tier yet either... 

Current/old Tiers will be archived sometime in the next few days and all edited to the same amount per month: They will be all be AUD$4 per month as a little ongoing bonus for current members... You will be able to stay on them and access past content, as well as new rewards if you wish… or you can switch to the new single tier that will be available to new folk. 

Any new folk signing up before the old tiers are archived will get to come along for the ride too... 

First Monthly charge by patreon will happen at the beginning of October... so you have until then to decide if you would like to stay on and see what I will get up to, or head off to different adventures and check in on me in other ways :-)
