A Little Town Square on Market Day
Added 2023-01-11 12:22:37 +0000 UTCAs you arrive in the small town you have been aiming for, you hear music and the noise of a happy gathering ... It must be market day! Arriving in the town square, you find yourselves swept into a small but busting market.
The bunting is flapping gaily in the breeze, a gazebo in the center of the square has a band playing lively music and the scent of fresh cakes drifts on the air.
Everyone seems to be celebrating something special...
Perhaps the older folk sitting in the shade of the Town Hall at the west end of the square will tell you what is going on, though you may have to settle down for a good long talk before you winkle it out of them, as they are more interested in hearing what news you bring from afar...
Enjoy your time here, whether you come in summer or winter or even stay on for the night fair ... I hope you find something interesting among the stalls to remember your visit :-)
