October is here.... what happened to September???

This month I will be working on one main city map for you guys, Southport, which I am really excited about.

The rest of the month will be for commissions and of course a few fun bonus maps for you guys ...

In Summary

October is going to be another quiet month with just 1 funded release

• 1st release: Settlement map of Southport
• Please toss ideas my way for locations you would like to visit in Southport
• Bonus maps: not sure yet, maybe some entrances to underdark settlements ..... 
• The Slum City Block Battlemap is a happening thing, release date TBA.... 

City map - Southport

Southport is going to come alive later this month :-)
it has been waiting nearly a decade now, so it is about time! 

There are 3 main settled areas.  Bottom left is what I am thinking of as the 'Mage Enclave' - with some smugglers routes through the cliff to ocean side caverns.   Top right is a cliff-top fortress, with a larger town within the walls. At the river mouth, down in the canyon is a fishing village and port   The circle just above The fishing village is a ruined tower in a dense bit of forest.   There are 3 cliff-top watchtowers and also the coastal walls.  There probably should be a mill somewhere along the river too...  

Apart from those locations, I am open to ideas...

Feel free toss ideas for any interesting locations my way over the next few days... Places you would like to see in this settlement-region when you visit it in the future!  If I can find them a spot, they will be there.

Bonus Maps

September's bonus maps - 3 underdark cities plus a battlemap of a rocky coast with a pier....
These will be finalised and out in the next few days.

October's theme... hmmm. I have been enjoying the underdark cities and and am thinking that I might create a few more with a similar look. Perhaps places that are closer to the light or are entrances into the underground....  we shall see..... 

The Slum City Block

At some point recently (despite what the front page says), we reached my next 'goal' of $150 per funded release.
You guys are all amazing.

The celebration map for reaching the 150/release goal is a whole city block in Trinpari (20th location from Trinpari to be turned into a battlemap).
It's going to be a pretty big map...3-levels of an entire city block...
My computer is going to get indigestion and it will take a while to draw.... After the Northern Fort map I swore I was never going to go that big again until I have a bigger computer....!
But I absolutely have to do this one. I have been looking forward to it for over a year...

I am going to be making a start on it this month so that it can be finished in November... 

 This will be the 20th location from Trinpari to be turned into a battlemap too :-)
