Bonus Maps _ Stone Pier & Glowing Land
Added 2022-01-31 02:38:59 +0000 UTCThose of you who hang out in the Discord community might recognise these experimental maps from a little while ago... I thought that it was about time I went over them, did the final touches and released them into the wild properly as bonus maps!
The 'Glowing Land' started life as a pencil sketch I drew while hanging out with my Niece & Nephews at Christmas... which I then took a photo of and proceeded to play around with... the colouring is pretty bold ... but if you add some location icons, this could be an interesting coastal campaign map where the interior land is a dark & unknown place...
The Stone Pier is an experiment with using Drone photos taken by a friend and other texture photos from my archives... about 5 photographs all photobashed together, and then manipulated.... ink, sea foam, sand and a few other elements added by hand ... and this is what came out. It was rather fun and I like the effect ... my friend is now trying to persuade me to buy a drone for myself so I can do more battlemaps like this!
