2025-08-02 18:31:01 +0000 UTCIt's interesting, in the first graph, the trend line for people who met through friends and people who met in bars is nearly perfectly mirrored, which you could interpret as meaning that people who in previous generations would've had a large friend group now sit alone in bars hitting on other lonely people, and I guess that's an increasingly successful strategy. But of course, that's a fairly cynical read
