Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, but just before we get to that, a quick reminder that I posted a Q&A on the weekend (that's a link), I've answered most, if not all, of the questions so far, so feel free to read through it, and ask a question if you'd like! Anyway, on to this week's video, which is... well, a fun one, perhaps in the spirit of the old "Angry August" days, as this is all about rage-bait and fearmongering. Enjoy!
With Elon now offering money to people just for tweeting, posts have become more sensationalized and rage-baiting than perhaps they've ever been. And the master of that is LibsofTikTok, a woman who started out "just showing you what Libs are doing" to posting "news". The problem is, most of the time, that news is half-truths or all-out lies. Buckley looks at one such case from near his own hometown, a waxing place that made international news because he was forced to pay $35k for "refusing to wax a trans person's balls". Problem is... half of that sentence is a lie. Plus, do these Culture Warriors ACTUALLY have the (potentially hairy) backs of those they claim to defend?

Something everyone can go "yeah, this is pretty dumb", even left wing people don't like that stuff. Then yeah, she became a full on fearmonger. Also that interview she did with... I want to say Taylor Lorenz? Made both of them look like they grew up in rooms covered in lead paint.

I can imagine though it sucks if you care about the sport that the only time boxing is in the public conscience is when it’s being used as a culture war talking point by the right or dumb (imo) YouTuber fights

I don't know, the story goes that this woman, as far as most people know, has a vagina. Not a dick NEVER had one. We've been hearing for a while from some people that that's what defines gender, and now it's not? So, I don't know. I DO think that testosterone levels should still be reviewed, if this person is intersex and generates more testosterone than others, much like in the running events where they do allow intersex athletes to compete in certain races, they should keep those lowered to attempt some level of fairness. But if someone's looking at this person and saying "she's built like a MAN!", if she presented as a man people would say "Woah that's a pretty skinny girly looking dude, got skinny legs and small arms, kind of a weak looking jaw", so Imane can't win no matter what.
