Things Never Quite Go As Planned
Added 2023-10-08 12:23:37 +0000 UTCA lot has happened with me this year. There have been friend deaths, pet deaths, family in their last weeks, broken hardware, COVID, and on top of that, more work at my day job, so I'm finding time management difficult now.
As part of my job, believe it or not, I need to get some experience as a streamer, too. It'd make more sense if I could actually say why that was.
Through all of this, I've decided to just call it quits on the modding. Sometime soon™, hopefully in November, but maybe December, I will release one last, fairly small Aether Suite update.
After that, I will be removing all the higher subscription tiers here and leaving only the $3 tier. Originally I was going to just pause all memberships permanently, but someone said it's good to have a place people can support me even if just to say thanks for all the mods over the years.
Regarding the new server, I decided not to bother, mostly because people seem to be doing just fine with the google drive, so I don't see any need to be paying for a whole server every month.
I will say, this doesn't mean I'll never make another mod, but I'm not gonna keep you all sitting around here expecting mods that I'm not planning to make.
Lastly, I'll be starting up activities as a streamer of a lot of games people have probably never heard of over on my YouTube channel, so if you have any interest in watching a boring guy be bad at video games, you can drop by and see me stream for a couple of hours, 3 times a week, starting this Tuesday the 10th, at 7pm UTC+1.
