Added 2025-08-15 17:30:17 +0000 UTCAs we approach the one month mark from the last BTM NighMare R update I wanted to provide a small update and a look into another project I've been working on for a private client.
BTM NightMare R status: I've been chugging away at the update on this. I've managed to fix the steering rack so that the wheel no longer is sweeping wildly when brakes are applied with the car stopped. I also received MoteC data from one of the team at the latest Road America races. This is the final bit I needed for the tire model to truly dial some things in further that I just did not have full data for before. There were a few other things that I was hoping to have done but not quite there for this month's release. My hope is to have this months update out on the 20th for you guys, I'm still catching up after being knocked out with bronchitis for a week and then cranking away at numerous private projects (MR2 ZZW30, M3 E46, S197 Mustang, Ligier JS2R, and McLaren Artura Trophy).
Happy to say I can at least share images of the work done on the MR2 for a gridlife competitor. Be sure to tune in this weekend, you'll see the TurnIn Concepts K24 swapped MR2 racing around Lime Rock Park! The sim model was a car that I 3D scanned the suspension of and developed from scratch for the client. This is just your reminder that while I do typically do 1 full public car project a year, that my commissions are indeed open for private commissions as well.
Lastly, the Spec P71 car update is coming soon as well. I do a once a year update typically to the mod and it's about to be that time that we release a new one as we head until the fall and winter months. Stay tuned for that.
