Hanabi - November and December 2024's Reward

It has been so long that I have enough time to draw every detail I want the illustration to look like and render everything carefully without worrying the schedule. I have been trying so hard on making quick and cheap pieces that I got so used to it that I thought my real skill was lost. But after this piece I knew everything was still there. It's just I haven't had any chance to use it at all because it took a hell long time to make. With this level, I can totally regain my confidence back and take pride in my work again. It's just this grand set is equal to your 3 sets so I really don't know how you feel about it.
So what do you think ? Should I make more grand sets in future again? Please let me know.
( But you know, looking at hard-working illustrations is the best ! I feel alive again after making this haha )
Today is the 16th day, even though I tried my best but the background was a hell to make and I really don't know when I could give you this preview if I would have drawn Hanabi's outfit as well. I will need to color her 2 different poses and prepare to make variants for all so this will take another 3 - 4 days. That is why I can't finish this grand set tomorrow before the year ends .( although I want a new year break as well T.T ).
Anyway, I will send you this set as soon as I finish it. This is part I of Nov-Dec's 2024 reward. Because after this grand set, I really need to start to draw the doujinshi because the convention event will be held in February. January 2025's reward will be a 4 pages doujinshi and 1 illustration set as usual. After that I will start to draw another grand set as part II of Nov-Dec's 2024 reward and finish this. Schedule is pretty tight but I will try my best to finish everything. Hope I still receive your support from you guys despite all the changes I made.

Thank you for such a long comment ! You know, although I draw every day in order to make content for fans, this kind of work is what I have been wanting to create. However as you see the time cost and effort is so high that It doesn't fit the algorithm these days and I will be forgotten before I can make any penny haha. Seeing everyone from my era become big and famous while I am still stuck here makes me start to doubt myself. However, I have never had the chance to show you all my ability so I really want to show off a bit with this piece. Another way to confirm my skill because the last time I really put this much effort was back in 2016. Well, If you like it that much then I will consider making one again but not soon. Thank you very much for your patience and support ! I can only be able to make this if you guys give me the green light to do so. 2025 will be a very busy year but I hope I will give you more new interesting things because I already decided to go outside the box. Happy New Year !

I love everything about it; it really feels like you took everything you've been working on and pulled them together and cranked it to 100. This piece fills me with joy. From the details in her body-the way her fingers splay out, the texture of her skin and hair, the curves and the pose-to the details in the background and foreground, the different colors and textures there too. I am looking at this piece but I can FEEL the petals of the flowers, the scales of the fish, and I can FEEL the water and I can FEEL the silkiness of her hair. I also love how Hanabi is a part of the environment in this one. It feels like the background and the foreground are wrapped around her in a way that gives the setting a lot of depth, while ensuring that she commands your attention front and center. Her body language is inviting, and it makes me want to dive in. The winding of the liquid path behind her into that chamber filled with faces is incredible too, I really love the usage of colors there and it's just so incredibly beautiful. I love how the piece is framed overall. I feel looking at it like I'm seeing deeper than what she's presenting, like we're peeking beneath the surface of her face into something visually representative of her personality or mood in some way. Like how the red line beneath her wrist starts out more like a ribbon but starts to bleed and spill over as you go further back behind her. Her facial expression is sweet and alluring, but the faces in the back betray the feeling of something raw and earnest. It's like the emotion of the scene is overflowing within her. Beautiful. Every nook and cranny of this piece is a delight. I'm glad you enjoyed making this one and that you're proud of the result, because just looking at it gives me a sense of awe. I think by this point in my message you know what I am going to say, but I'll say it anyways: I really really want to see more grand sets like this in the future. How often you do it I'll leave to you, I'm not sure what sort of balance would work best for you in terms of bigger sets and multiple smaller sets but I definitely want to see more pieces like this. Next year will be very busy so any set that costs 20 days like this will be put on consideration very much but well, if you like it then I am always ready ! The fish, flowers, water, her glowing skin. You really went above and beyond with everything here. It's truly beautiful. I would definitely like to see more of this, although maybe if it was an occasional thing like once every couple of months? I think this is a great way to stay in refreshed with your skills you've developed over the years
