Hi Evergreens and Hickories!

I hope you're all doing well. 💚

This isn't our slated narrative influence poll! Instead, I was eager to reveal a particular art piece that features: plaid. Our poll will be next month.

(I'm shifting around and adding a few posts. The spicy, begging question spiraled in length, so it will be our Author's Choice this month in addition to me wanting to add more to 'Triage' for its early release in April.) As many of you know, I believe in gender ~balance~ across our pieces. Hickories will be having an art poll on March 26th; their votes will determine the gal artwork to be shared in April. I went with James for this month's surprise art post because of his plaid and the Corvin farmhouse being on my mind. 😌

Another wonderful commission from the ever talented Three! This particular art piece is a callback to J. Corvin's roots. It is set on Corvin land. Notably, J is out of their typical semi-formal Detective attire. Thank you again! 🥰

The cloudless sky is a soft blue that's more understated compared to the house itself. James is the focal point! He's wearing a red and blue plaid shirt for a more 'farm boy' and relaxed look that also hints at this favorite comic book hero. Still, his strong build is hinted at in the set of his shoulders and what we see beneath his less buttoned-up shirt. His raven hair handsomely frames his face. There is a certain pensiveness to his expression despite being back home that might make you wonder what he's thinking about. The lack of stubble/five-o-clock shadow coincides with his visit back home, requiring a more clean-shaven look that still shows off his jawline and strong features.
