OF COURSE the solo-route is good, there's so much insight into Mal and you get to see them surprised and softness blooming. BUT! The conflicted version has such a good push/pull feeling. The feeling that Mal and January can't stay away from each other, that they seek each other, no matter what. The harshness that Mal shows... you know what, deserved since Jam can't make up her damn mind. The little warnings and frustrations. And yet, Mal isn't putting an end to this either. 🥰🥰🥰 Who is going to be ruined by this situation by the end? It could be either of them. Because if January ends up alone. So does Mal 😎

But it was only enough time to finish the uncommitted version & then spend all day thinking about Dean being judged by Nox & also that Mal doesn’t want an audience but I never intended for Reese to be a passive observer. Would that change the outcome?… ❤️🔥👀🖤🚩🔥
