Typically, our Spicy content 🔥 is reserved for Evergreens and Hickories, but this story turned somewhat heated, not necessarily as explicit as those writings. This is a summertime treat!😎 I wrote the hot part first before mixing in minor horror tie-ins for double the fun.

I'm so happy you enjoyed it, Sneep, especially the creeping uncanny vibe and B's 'i'mma go along with it' mentality. I enjoyed linking TFS events within their dream (like the coral injury equating to the injury the MC can receive in Chapter 5 that can worsen in Chapter 11). 2025-07-11 07:44:51 +0000 UTCit's also really fun for me to think that the biggest reasons beckett thought that this was a weird dream were the following: 1) zarina didn't trust him immediately,; 2) she's intense yeah but those pretty manicure fingers ain't gonna make such sounds against the wood; 3) she'd elaborate. ok im done for sure for sure now AND DAMN I FORGOT ABOUT BEE LOOKING CONCERNED OVER MC STANDING AT THE EDGE OF THE CLIFF AND LOOKING AT THE WATER INSTEAD OF SUNSET!! WHAT ABOUT GOLDEN HOUR!! WHAT ABOUT THE SKY'S THE LIMIT!! AND DANGERS OF FALLING!! ok i think i hit all bases

I think I'm one of the only MCs who actually would act like that IRL with Beckett Warrick because that passion, that 'beast in beauty' motif, that passion and possessiveness are her top traits. It's not surprising our precious B didn't go 'huh that's weird' with BeeZ in my mind, which makes me giggly because I love reading others' comments and they go like '???MC' or smth else. I'll just go over feral stuff first before diving into the other symbolism of 'nightmare' that I noticed as well and want to bite into. As I said before, it gives insane BeeZ vibes to me because I loved reading B's sass and MC's teasing. I'll refer to MC as Zarina my bad, I'm just borderline insane about them about this. My silly goofy brain went "It's the passion mixed with love and repressed feelings for years, ofc she'd press her best friend against the wall, she thought of it so many times when he came back from dates just to prove she's the best of them all and she's right there!!!" It was so silly of my brain, but that's exactly what I was thinking about. Additionally, I always sit here being silly like 'but can MC be a bit unhinged about their lover, you know, just as a treat?' and BOOM! This is here! I get that it's a weird dream/nightmare-esque, but it's the way you've mentioned previously, too, that 'Bee might like if MC is a bit mean' aka teasing, a bit rough, etc. This makes me think to those moments and I always think about how Zarina, yes, loves Beckett with her whole heart and will be gentle with him whenever and wherever, but there is that underlining beast-like mannerisms that is greedy, passionate, and just a bit mean in a way that is still worshipping over her lover. That's why out of the whole gang going insane over this one-shot, I was sitting here like 'Omg Aelsa is exposing Zarina here holy shit'. It's the trust of having fingers wrapped around his throat and trusting not to be hurt, it's the imagery of wolf and sacrificial lamb that gets to me so insane that I bark and howl at the moon out here. My silly goofy mind is also concentrating on that intensity that B has in the dream from MC. The 'that's a little intense, but sweet' because for some people it can be off-putting but Beckett has been int he foster care system, so being wanted to heatedly and desperately and intensely? Esp by the one he loves? It hits different. I just know Zarina and Beckett are that woman holding a man (picked up) against the wall meme for sure. It's just fun because I put Zarina in this as well and it all goes into 'yes, it fits who she is: intensity, possessiveness, wish to claim, and overflowing adoration & love for her best friend'. It's the repressed for a bit so now she's greedy, hungry, and Ok, horny and intense and possessive aside… Time for those B's mental state refs. Before that too! I've actually been to Greece multiple times! Santorini is GORGEOUS. I love how you chose that location, too. The weather there is also so beautiful. Ah, makes me want to go back to Greece. Ok, now the symbolisms. The locks on the door made me think of paranoia but also that writing post Book 1 where Beckett saw how they couldn't leave. The internalized fear of being locked away but also wishing to lock away dangers from others. It was cool to look at it from two sides: keeping oneself in and keeping the rest out. The deer continues to follow us through all the things, but it's interesting how the deer has mostly been prevalent with MC and B specifically. Bambi mentions with Beckett are not the first time either. Plus, the moment where B was worried that he isn't believed? Oof, it makes me think about how foster care system was and how B's been doubted before, especially since they're on a more pessimistic and paranoid side. Plus, not being believed by RV? That's tough, it's SCARY because RV — regardless if they're romantic or platonic — is their only true connection. B believes MC without question, so it's both scary not to have the same in return but also the self doubt of 'do I deserve to be trusted the same way? am I not too much? am I not too negative?' and I get B there so much. AND FINALLY THE BANTER!! God, that was so BeeZ core I dream about. The smugness vs 'you KNOW you were in my dream to get me like THIS'. The knowing of them both, the closeness, and the 'make me tired' like BARKING AGAIN. We joked about it with the group but Beckett going "Let me be your stress relief" because he knows sex/physical touch is helping her relieve stress while also adding love and emotion and affection? So this 'tire me out' is so hot, like top tier. 1000/10. Ok I'm done fr now xD
