Nerves were to blame back then until the kid moved on to animatedly engaging with Sofia by complimenting her cerulean hair dye. When Judith hops a little to be on her tiptoes, James's stance weakens so he's not as tall or imposing while in front of the counter.

The polling question is because I'm curious about something alongside sharing a few scene variations with you! 👀
In your most common playthrough of Book Two, what color is S's hair dye for the few braids they dye while the rest remains ebony?
(It might help to consider your encounter with Judith! If her hair is purple instead of strawberry blonde, then S's dye will be deep violet. If not, S's dye remains dusky lavender.)

Thank you! 🥰 I hope you have fun exploring; there are multiple scenes relating to either the Lodge or Library and then also the rarer outcomes if it's a 'clash' versus what one might expect. (For instance, Ms. Grendal showing up with a J-mancer instead of Judith via the Lodge path, which I'd be more inclined to expect since that has J in Book One. It's still accounted for. :D) I'm surprised that you favor the library route versus sticking with J and S, though A being there is a win. 💞

(I can't wait for the favorite color question to pay off.) And I did wonder if that particular scene was hard to get! Because I just stumbled upon it on one of my first Lodge runs - stay out of it? Okay. 👌 And then I couldn't recreate it again either because I didn't choose stay out of it after that original run. Thank you for cluing me on how to get it every time now!!! Also, I always set the scene where Judith makes a checkers burger with J on J routes. I like to maximize Judith time as well as get special scenes with the ROs. <- my ass actively debating giving Jam different past hobbies on my runs instead of always sticking with geology every time. Although, since I think geology is Jam's "canon" I'll still choose it every time on a R run. It will pay off, trust (lmao). EDIT. for the poll, I did choose dusky lavender because most of my runs are not S runs and I go to the library with R and B and J doesn't get that variation. 🥲
