He can definitely evolve because spiking isn’t the only thing he can improve at (blocking, receiving, and serving). Also, spiking is a two-man process, so it isn’t completely dependent on Kageyama’s skills.

You already know what I say. Take a break as much as you need to. Watch Hamilton on Disney+. It SLAPS!
Plus, feel free to binge Haikyuu and just enjoy it. You can watch it all you want, record it, but don't edit it or anything. Just watch and love it, cause the show gets even better!
And that struggle to grow is frustrating, because they are both right. Hinata can't evolve past where he is right now, which is completely dependent on Kageyama's skills. But the teams at the national level aren't going to be surprised by the super quick. And without Hinata scoring as a decoy, they will get overwhelmed like they did in these videos.

Hinata isn't trying to grow too fast. He's actually looking at where the team is and realizing he's not contributing anything on his own. He wants to be reliable to the team, and he has a solution. Nobody's listening though. They were playing practice games, not official ones. There is no better time to try than practice games against strong opponents. Its already a precedent that Hinata is a quick learner.
