Vellum Playground - 06 - Introduction to Grains

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use Vellum to simulate grain in SideFX Houdini. Our first step will be to set up a basic grains setup and go over the most important parameters for art-directing grain simulations.

Comments

If you want to change the color after the vellum simulation, you can use a color node after the solver. There are different options like "ramp from attribute" to colorize depending on pscale or velocity for example

Good tutorial, I have a question sorry about that, but so I chose the colors but if I want to leave it with the same texture as the example and then change it to the vellum animation, how would I do it?
