Blog | Preview of the Crate Breakdown

Yesterday I finished recording JUST a breakdown for the crate from houdini to substance to unreal. 

That 1 hour is what comes next on the auditorium tier. 

I have the goal to get better at doing these, so that I can offer you guys something like this in similar size each month. That could be coverage of bigger projects or new smaller sized topics. I am going to make use of polls to find what tickles your interest the most.

This one will be a bit more experimental - in regular tutorial or course fashion this would be more like 5-6 hours if not more. 

But the idea is to look at what connects it all, how to make the jumps between each software and what issues may come up. There is so much other stuff on the way - but instead of working you through all of that - I point you to the tutorials or source where I learned it from. For example I use a hologram and dissolve effect in unreal when placing the object. These came from free youtube material tutorials that i will link to. 

I am cleaning the Finished project files for the rail and the cyberpunk layout builder. Then I do an hour on each and finally get the final files out.

Since I am building a real game prototype with the focus on Houdini to Unreal synergy - there is new possible content and mini projects around each corner. 

I recovered enough from the page and created a wasabi account so that I can share these files in a more efficient way. I hope to put it only during the next month so that you can navigate directly to specific hip files or HDAs.
