The big highlight of this release is the new Si4732-based FM Tuner! 🎶
It’s still early days, so for now it only covers the FM broadcast band, but support for SSB, AM, SW, MW, and LW is on the way soon.
🔑 Default Activation Key
LP-8 (you can reassign this to whatever you like)
🎛️ In-Tuner Controls
SP-0 to 9 → Enter a new frequency
SP-Red → Exit tuner / stop seeking
SP-# → Seek forward
SP-* → Seek reverse
LP-# → Toggle scope on/off
LP-* → Toggle muting (squelch) on/off

Set the squelch settings according to your environment, this is an advanced and configurable firmware. You can't just turn it on and expect everything, you have to putin some work.

2025-08-26 18:59:16 +0000 UTCDo you also feel that the squelch is terrible and jarring? With the stock software, the sensitivity was much higher, and even with background noise, you could hear the communication. On the Alpha 16, it cuts out constantly. Do you have any tips for fixing this?

This would be nice for the 900/890 if its at all possible.. Be interesting to see what tricks might be able to be done once 880G coding has begun as well.. Some awesome updates on this build. Great job Dev~

2025-08-24 12:06:37 +0000 UTCThe relay clicks when it switches back and forth from HF so what are you doing that's doing that? Channel mode scan when you have mixed HF and non-HF channels maybe. Don't do that.

2025-08-23 14:45:13 +0000 UTCFM Radio Empfang incl RDS und Spectrum funktionieren sehr gut. Die schwachen Sender kommen stärker rein als mit dem RT900 oder H3. TOP und Danke. Speichern der Sender und Radioempfang mit Funkkanal überwachen kommt sicher noch?
