Piggy Pie Animatic
Added 2024-08-26 06:52:40 +0000 UTCThis started out as something I did for fun after seeing a bunch of Piggy Pie edits online with various other media. Though I first discovered the song when I think I was what, like, 13? It's no secret I was Warrior Cats kid, so the Tigerstar Piggy Pie Multi-Animator Project was got me into it lol. That's the reason why I used the old school version of the song, the new one just sounds wrong to me 😂 Anyway, I ended up being able to finish this one, but I really do think animatics are what I enjoy making most. I'm not a professional animator by any means, currently I just do them for fun when I have time. My animatics can be pretty brainless, I basically use them as a way to get information onto the page that I can work with later and thus they're rarely presentable. So you're the only ones who get to see them! One of my biggest struggles is maintaining that neater look a lot of professional animation requires, so honestly being able to make comics is really more up my alley anyhow. Not doing that professionally yet either--but maybe one day!
Although some of this animatic I actually did end up using as the final lineart--I do that a lot in general to save time and stress since I can get pretty impatient and frustrated when working on something for too long. Cue all of my half-baked animatics that have been rotting away 🥲 At least they'll finally get to see the light of day here!
