I couldn't help myself, I keep wanting to make animatics but I thought for this one I'd at least polish it up a bit more! I plan to post this to IG after EP11 is up. Indigo De Souza makes some of my favorite music and would be in line with Hazel's music tastes, them and another band I like called Daffo. This portion of the song really just stuck out in my mind, and it sort of helps me tease the kind of character Hazel is and what she'll struggle with. Trying to avoid spoilers but Hazel has a hard time feeling seen and understood by those around her. Harvey's the only one who has her back, but even then there's still some things he can't help. She finally finds what she was missing through Leo, but even so she notices how it seems like there's always something he's not telling her. I tried playing around a bit with the editing and just making it a bit cleaner than the last few animatics, I've really taken a liking to tweening the movement as opposed to frame by frame. It's a lot of fun and saves me a bunch of time! I basically just duplicate and liquify the frames to achieve that bouncy effect, and additionally I thought it could use some shading since I think the Harvey animatic suffered from being a little flat. I know being unfinished is the point of these, but I'm always still self conscious that they don't look done lol. But I like making them, so who cares, right!!
