Weekly Update 6-23-2019
Added 2019-06-23 20:40:05 +0000 UTCThis is my first weekly update, but I do plan to keep it up on the state of current projects.
I release Emilianas "Final" translation and recieved a lot of feedback, seems that maps that were fixed at one point were lost and I have to redo them, I decide to actually go back through and redo every map as I learned a lot since they were first done. There is a problem with text that doesn't use word-wrap from messagecore, no clue how to fix it and may have to brute force every line if I can't figure it out.
Onto the next project Muchi Muchi Rural life. The game has two games in the file, the base game rural life and a return version I think is inaka, or it might just be a DLC that was included, either way both will be translated. Initial translation with machine has been finished, the project has over triple what Emiliana had, however the translation is going to be easier due to less obscure words used, like church, which kept being translated as cult. The largest map has over 2000 lines of dialogue and will likely be one of the longest stretches between updates when I get to it. I have switched to trello for keeping track of tasks since my old task tracker had a limit of 150 tasks, which is bull all things considered.
Current outlook on the real final Emiliana translation shouldn't be very far off, have already reworked a lot of common events, the developers have stated they are working on the 2.0 update which will likely add a large amount of content, I may return when it is finished to update the new content. The final translation will get a patch for those who just want to update without redownloading, as well as a full download.
Muchi Muchi will not be released until I finish the first 40 maps, something like 10k lines, but shouldn't take too long and will be worked on in conjunction with Emiliana.
Thanks everyone for feedback and support.
