Weekly Update 10-21-19
Added 2019-10-21 23:43:18 +0000 UTCHello Everybody and welcome back to weekly update, this week has been a busy one on a few different fronts so let's get down to it.
Lilia's next patch is still a little bit away but with any luck it will include more translated book pages as I've been working on those this week as well as the translation, I think that in the next project I do that needs text in pictures I'm going to not try to do it all in krita, great program for art, terrible program for text. I still need to work on some things, bugtest to make sure everything works and the patch will be out as soon as I'm done.
Onto my own project, I've been shopping around for artist I can commission a few pieces from, though that hasn't been easy because 2 artist stopped talking to me after realizing I only wanted a few things for a demo and not to hire them on. I am still planning to commission some work but one artist I spoke to inspired me to try to do that art on my own for the demo to save some money until I can commission an artist willing to work with me. You'd think that a simple linework standing picture and a small scene would be easy to find someone to do, but oh well I'll keep looking around. In the meantime I've been building all the other parts of the game such as buildings and temporary sprites, I need to make some tilesets or at least find some so I'm not just using RTP assets and being a cliche RPG maker project. Right now I have the basic eventing done, have the costume system ready for when I actually get pictures to go with it, and I'm beginning to craft a narrative. My goal for the demo that will eventually be released will be to have at least 2 costumes to play with and at least one common event scene(Most likely being groped by a patron) to showcase some of the basic gameplay.
Well I've rambled on long enough, I will see you all next week for weekly update, if you have any comments or questions feel free to leave them down below.
