Weekly Update 11-18-19
Added 2019-11-19 00:41:18 +0000 UTCHello Everybody and welcome back to weekly update. This week has been a busy one for me on all fronts and while I've gotten quite a bit done I feel like I didn't, but let's get into it.
Lilia this week has been all about the maps as I've already finished the things that were supposed to be second phase during all the bug hunting at the start of the translation, while there are only a few very large maps there are also quite a few small maps that I've been slowly chipping away at. The translation shouldn't take much longer to be a complete translation, but it will likely not get another patch before that, the good news is that I may be able to complete it within the next week and they I'm onto the polishing phase before final playtest and pushing it out to public.
Emiliana has also had a bit of work done to it, my internet was off for a full day, comcast can suck it, and as such I was able to bring my old patch onto 2.0 and being going through some of the easier stuff that I know, the game has a new sidestory and areas but it isn't huge, what's going to take the most time is that the files I have are pre-polish, so I will have to go through everything again but honestly I was planning to anyway because I was never happy with my translation since I would skip parts of it that I didn't think needed tranlation. That's the next project, so I'll be working through that as soon as I finish Lilia.
Barkeeper has gotten a lot done this week as I've sat down to knock out a lot of the little things and big things. I have been in contact with an artist who will be taking over the game art and will hopefully have something for me to put in the game soon. I have put barkeeper up on Itch.io for ease of downloading updates so if you prefer to download it through itch.io or even feel like doing single donations instead of subbing through patreon you can do that by simply typing in barkeeper.
This week in barkeeper I've been working on making all of the sprites for the costumes, added in another costume called Knight(altered) which is a sexy variant of your knights armor, I've added in a tailors which will act as a way to create variants for certain costumes in future releases. NPC have finally shown up and gotten dialogue throughout the game, except the town as of now since I was working on other things. There is now a day/night cycle as well as weather in game, at the moment there is a 5% chance of each day having rain, and just in case you were wondering yes I am going to add in events from getting wet in the rain. The choices menu has gotten a slight overhaul so now all the bar options sans costumes are on a single menu. The bar now has patrons that change based on the time of day and will have an option to talk to them with different dialogue based on costume and time of day. Dahlia our local bartender can also be spoken to and will give you your first quest to advance the story, which in turn will be used to unlock options(like weekend events) and sets up the precedent for Steph to get more in touch with her carnal desires, Several maps have had a face lift as well.
