Update on what's going on

Hey Everyone, this is just an update on me disappearing for a month without word, so if you're just waiting for a game update you still have a bit of waiting.

For the past month I have been working, my actual work, not so much on the game. It has been taking up so much of my energy that at the end of the day and on days off I have done very little work, this combined into me just not talking about it for the weekly update. The work that has been done is mainly text and not so much art, being a fan of a lot of games I often don't care about the text so without art to show it became less likely I would have a release ready. Art takes time and the better I got the less I was willing to say good enough to, this turned 2 hour pieces of art into a week, animation oddly once the basic art was done was fairly easy to animate since in between frames weren't meant to be perfect.

So where does that leave the game, well it's back to having more work done since school is starting soon so I will have less responsibility watching over kids and also a set schedule again. Over the past few month the lack of schedule meant I would lose track of time and often accomplish nothing. Barkeeper's writing should see a decent chuck of content in the next release and I plan to push towards finishing most of the writing for the game over the next few months. Barkeeper was never meant to be a long in depth game and I keep complicating things. If the next release sees the bugs with the beach mini-game return I may scrap it for a more traditional choose your scene type game, after all it was quite literally put in just to gauge how well it would work for twisted city nights. That game will of course have work done on it in between updates.

Well I rambled enough, I am alive, will try to be consistent from now on.
