So, if you really want something, or you want to do something no matter what, even if it means breaking the law, you might say, for example, I'm going to get my revenge, by hook or by crook. π What I said after the phrase was just playing around with the words because they rhyme. π Did you mean hooked, as in to be addicted to something?
