The new PC is built! specs below
Added 2024-01-22 10:11:50 +0000 UTCIt's done, it's working, and I'm gradually installing all the software and moving files over. I should be able to do a stream this evening (Mon 22nd Jan 18:00 GMT) on it!
I want to make a post here so I can thank all you Patreon supporters who made it possible. Your generous support means I can do content creation as my job, and afford to build a beastly PC like this to invest back into that content! Video editing, rendering, streaming, recording games will all be drastically improved thanks to this. For some specific ideas of games that I can tackle; I'm looking forward to GTA6, maybe picking up Cities: Skylines 2, returning to Bannerlord which was performing quite sluggishly on my old PC. Some exciting new games coming this year like Manor Lords & Gilded Destiny (its fancy globe hex map looks performance-intensive). But most of all, I can run everyone's favourite glorified spreadsheet game on ONE of those many CPU cores!!
