The CGI is definitely a step up in this film. The one major criticism I have about MIB 3 is that I think they rely **too** heavily on CGI animation just because they were showing off the budget of the film. So, I give this 2nd film credit for using more advanced tech but keeping it to a reasonable level. Will Smith absolutely carries both the 2nd and 3rd film, and I personally don't mind the sorta whimsical comedy of this one, even though a lot of people hate that it's not as "serious" or whatever as the original. Also, for whatever it's worth, making the pug a main character in this film was definitely a choice of the time lol. I miss the early 2000s. I also genuinely think the animation on the dog's mouth was better than some of the animal mouth animation you see nowadays. p.s. That Burger King ad spot really was insane lol. Even to the point of having the super model eating it. You don't realize those things as a kid.
