Added 2024-12-06 03:53:16 +0000 UTCPage 58, which I posted earlier today, got pulled down for going against the community guidelines. Patreon has a zero tolerance policy regarding nonconsensual adult content and apparently page 58 crossed the line, which is funny considering it's a page featuring a bdsm scene between two consenting adults with no nudity. I can see how someone not familiar with the comic wouldn't get that, but still, annoying. ^^; I sent in a request so hopefully it'll be back up in the next few days, but if this is going to become the new norm, then I should probably get my SubscribeStar page up and running.

We should perhaps be glad AI is still bad at grasping context - else it would be making comics by now... Couple of tips for submitting appeals - keep it short, factual and dispassionate. The person reviewing your complaint has very little time to do so and doesn't give a rat's ass about your emotions. I wouldn't be surprised if the way you're treated is linked to how much money you make for them (they'll never admit it, but that's how it generally works in the biz) - in which case you're in a better situation than the average Joe, being in the top 1%, at least according to Graphtreon. Nevertheless, I'm rating the odds of having this reinstated as low to moderate at best. Contingency plans are needed.

I've seen other artists do that to avoid getting hit. Having some disclaimer text about everything being a consenting roleplaying scenario can also help.
