2023-11-14 14:18:09 +0000 UTCThe craziest thing to me about that Ripken MVP snub is that it’s not like you need crazy SABR stats to see how good he was. He hit .300 with 30 homers while playing every day at shortstop! I guess it came down to team performance but the O’s were 85-77 that year. Not contenders but certainly not abysmal.
