Added 2024-01-14 16:23:09 +0000 UTCHey, guys! Since I am still in the writing stage of the new update and don't have much to show besides text, I saw it now as a good time to drop a new devlog.
Poll Results:
- With the beginning of the new year, I am testing a new schedule. I conducted a poll asking for supporters, and the majority agreed to divide the next updates into two parts. The plan is to make more frequent updates without compromising quality.
Regarding the sound poll:
- I haven't forgotten about it. I will provide an option for you to choose whether some videos have sound or not. This is one of the reasons I wanted to divide updates, to have more time to address these other aspects of the game.
Grinding and Optimization:
- With the new locations and workplaces, the game has become a bit more grind-heavy with additional clicks, which wasn't the intent. I want to customize that aspect. One thing I am already planning for the next update is vending machines around the world where you can buy drinks that restore energy and self-care points. Also, there will be quick passages like going directly from your bedroom to outside, and vice versa.
Rewards:
- I've been testing with Linda, and every time you finish her quest, you unlock something—repeat quests, new scenes, etc. I will do the same with the other characters. I believe it provides more of a sense of reward than just introducing new items to buy on Mayazon or events out of the blue.
For the Future:
- I will start making more polls, asking questions about the world, the grinding, and money, etc. I hope I don't annoy you guys too much with that; it's all to help me understand the feelings you have while playing and how to better optimize the game.
