Game Over: Swallowed by Reality (Story & Video)

Jason was obsessed with his VR headset, never leaving it for more than a few moments. The latest immersive game synced with his phone had him hooked, pulling him deeper into a world of fantasy, where he could escape the dull hum of his office job. His addiction, however, hadn’t gone unnoticed by his boss, Ms. Harper. She was a sharp, no-nonsense woman, and Jason’s dwindling productivity was beginning to cost the company money. 

“Jason, we need to talk,” Ms. Harper had said one day, but her words barely registered. He nodded, eyes glazed over behind the tinted lenses of his headset, his hands mindlessly swiping at thin air. She scowled, arms crossed, and stormed back to her office.

She had tried reprimands, meetings, even docking his pay. Nothing worked. Jason was too far gone, consumed by the artificial world he preferred over reality. And so Ms. Harper decided to try something unconventional. 

The next day, a message popped up on Jason’s phone. It was a game code. “Exclusive VR Experience – Limited Edition.” Without a second thought, he entered the code, his mind too consumed by excitement to read any of the fine print. 

The moment he activated it, his surroundings began to shift. The desk beneath him felt like it was growing—or was he shrinking? His office chair rose higher and higher, and the once-mundane office transformed into an impossibly vast landscape. 

Jason looked around, still wearing his headset, convinced this was just part of the game. He noticed something large moving toward him—a giantess. He smirked. “Classic,” he muttered. “They really upped the immersion this time.” He didn’t even bother to take off the headset, convinced everything he saw was virtual. 

The giantess reached down and effortlessly plucked him up. Her touch felt too real, but Jason chalked it up to advanced haptics. As he rose higher, he could feel her breath on him, warm and slightly humid. It wasn’t until he was being brought to her mouth that a sliver of doubt crept into his mind. 

Before he could react, Ms. Harper—the giantess—opened her mouth wide and dropped him in. He tumbled down her throat, landing with a splash in the depths of her stomach. 

Jason blinked, disoriented but still playing the game in his mind. His headset showed him a vast stomach landscape, glowing slightly as though part of a strange new level. “Weird,” he thought. “This game is insane.” 

But as the seconds passed, Jason started to feel, a rising heat and pressure. The game world flickered, struggling to sync with the painful reality of his new existence. Yet, Jason stayed oblivious, playing on. This was the last game Jason would ever play. And as the VR headset finally shut down, he was left alone in the dark, trapped within his boss’s stomach.
