With flash lighting I find it helps to make use of the airbrush in your earlier render stages. Usually if the flash is coming from the viewer's perspective like it is in this drawing, the edges of your subject will appear darker while the center generally appears brighter. Almost no harsh cast shadows except for on surfaces in the bg. If you've had trouble with flash rendering before I hope this helps!

Hey Sam, wheres the best place to get color study reference images? I tried movie screenshots but the color is usually too unnatural. Thanks!
