Boy how time flies. Summer is wrapping up and the kids are already going back to school. It feels like only yesterday I was just a college kid. Now I have a job, a mortgage, back pain, massive breasts...

Oh, sorry. You don't want to hear me reminisce. You want to hear about the new update!

This month holds a very exciting, dramatic update for Crossed Signals: the intro to Nicole's route! This is the third route we'll be adding to the game, and one of the dev team's personal favorites. After all, who doesn't want to turn into an attractive older lady?

It's also one of the spiciest in the game, with a lot of emotional highs and lows. It's closer in tone to the clashing personalities of Violet than the cozy romance of Jenny. If you're familiar with Abbyswap from Student Transfer, that should give you a rough idea of what to expect.

 New Story - Nicole Days 2 & 3

You may remember that on day 2, Sam gets his phone confiscated during math class, but remembers to grab it when class is over. This has been turned into a choice. If Sam forgets to grab his phone, then Nicole gets a little curious...

New Sprites - Mel, Linda, and Nicole outfits

With any new route, we just can't resist adding new characters. Nicole needed some adult friends to bounce off, plus they'll help fill out the school staff's roster.

The Japanese teacher from Jennyswap now gets a sprite and name: Melody St. Clair.

As for this fashionable lady, she'll be appearing in Violet's route as the cheer coach.

And of course, any new route wouldn't be complete without new outfits and new poses. Doesn't Sam look cute in his new body? I think so.

New Nicole CGs and a Violet CG Sketch

TheTransformistress has been very excited to draw CGs for Nicole, and that really shows through with not one, but two PoV CGs that kick off the route! These two are especially steamy, taking place in a much different location than Violet's and Jenny's.

For Violetswap, we've also gone back and added CG sketches for Violet, Sam, and Eric spending time on the couch, and then Sam and Eric playing games afterward. It was one of those scenes that felt especially fitting for a CG, given all of the fun little interactions between the characters.

New Art from KimRinzley - Finished Background and Sketches

Kim Rinzley has added another finished background to the pile: Jenny's apartment! Doesn't it look cozy? I wish I had an apartment this nice in college; I hope her rent is reasonable...

New Feature - Gallery

With as many CGs as we've added, it was high time we added a CG gallery to the game. It's fun to see how many we've accrued so far. Just imagine how big it'll look when the game is complete!
