Hello patrons!

We hope you've been enjoying all the new Crossed Signals story we've been putting out, but it's time for another update to Coffee Buns!

Now, if you know anything about our lead artist KDhynamo, it's that he loves his bunny suits. He even pointed out in the credits he can't believe we made it through the entire development of Mice Tea without drawing one. Well, we finally have a visual novel all about a rabbit and we've removed the power limiters.

That's right: This update is Bun Day.

New Story - Day 7

Leo has taken a more active hand in his presentation in his new body, and while it hasn't resulted in any sort of reversion to his usual masculine form, it has resulted in some worthwhile experiences. However, when he wakes up he still has the same feminine body that's becoming a little too familiar.

It's up to Leo to determine how to balance his goals of getting back to normal and taking advantage of the experiences provided by his current body. As it turns out, Ash has an idea that will force Leo's hand one way or the other. What is that idea? Well, I think you can make an educated guess.

New Art - CGs

You've seen the centerpiece CG above, but there's even more new art goodness in the latest update! There's a third finished update to the train CG that features Leo in his current body, as well as some sketch CGs that feature some customers of Awakenings and a scene at Naomi's apartment at the end of the day

We also finished a CG that's been in the works for a while: the mermaids that feature fan cameos on Day 5 at the beach! Melina, Zoey, and Zoe (not the Zoe writing this) are all fully illustrated and instilling complicated gender feelings in Leo. We hope you enjoy them, and thanks to our cameo patrons who helped us make this VN!

New Art - Sprites

KD has not only drawn sprites for the outfit shown above, but he's also blessed us with over half a dozen new outfits in this update. Not just for the new story, but also some outfits for Naomi, Ash, and Boss to seed back into the previous story! You can see them in the scene below.

But of course, the star of the show is the new bunny suit that you'll see throughout Day 7, so make sure to get a good look when it appears. We even have an appearance by Debbie with a few new expressions, which we know bun lovers will love.

New Music - Boss And Roman's Themes

With this month's update, we have now completed themes for all of our characters! There's still music to come, including variations on those themes, particularly for Leo and his different forms, but for now we have the base tracks for the whole cast!

Roman's is a beach-inspired theme that conveys his laid-back demeanor and attitude. Meanwhile bosses is a classy, professional tune, though with a bit of warmth under the surface that listeners can detect. You can head back into the story for scenes that prominently feature them to take a listen and see what a good job Will did with the compositions!
