People were polled by one group that showed in 1991 only about 10% of people agreed with biblical viewpoints. that has actually gone up by about 3% since then at one point shortly after 9/11 it was up to 15% so while people claiming religion is going down people being dedicated to their religion is going up. Atheism has stagnated and more people are more openly claiming none or agnostic which is more honest then saying. "im Christian because my parents go to church."
