Why are we less open minded as we get older?

But I'm 37 and I couldn't imagine being a grandpa yet. I'm still getting used to be a dad lol. But yeah, as I said on YT, you are unique in that you are actively curious the older you get. And I like your Futurama icon. I forgot to tell you that.

2019-04-16 17:11:20 +0000 UTCAs I get older (I am 41 and a grandpa) I have become more skeptical but at the same time I am constantly learning that I am not as smart as I think I am. I have to consciously make an effort to listen and make an evaluation of what I think I know and that I may be wrong. Especially when it comes to social issues. I have also learned that my opinion really isn't as important as younger me thought. I am going to post this on the video too. Maybe comments will bump it up in the algorithm.
