“Constellations” a Lunar Phases Spin-Off

Just a side project I never thought I’d get around to but with you guys here, I’m curious. Should I go for this spin off of Lunar Phases? If I do, I’d make it another little exclusive for y’all. Read the prompt and tell me your thoughts.

At a meeting of All, a gathering of Patheon Heads to negotiate or reaffirm standing disputes, agreements, etc, Odin gives warning to Zeus: “The Hound of Ragnarök grows restless, there is trouble brewing.”

Zeus interprets this to mean that Gaea is acting up. Deciding it best to withdraw his ilk to Olympus, he tells the other All-Fathers to remain out of his territory and away from his followers while he sorts out his pantheon’s primordial.

Ra, through his magistrate, asks if that includes Khonsu’s Chosen. Zeus thunders in anger, but growls an affirmative. Shiva sighs in dismay, seeking to meet the infamous Mortal Without Strings, but agrees to inform the rest of the Eastern Block.

Zeus recalls the gods, minor and major, including Thalia. She fights it but is ultimately cowed by his threats against her mortal paramour. Her retaliation comes in the form of violent thunderstorms across his favorite locations, and manages to sneak a message to Naruto in the meantime.

At a loss, Naruto begins helping Annabeth look for Percy. Doing so takes him back to Colorado, where whispers of werewolf sightings reach his ears, and is unbeknownst stalked by another hunter.

Meanwhile, The Immortal Wizard Koshchey seeks to rule all, to dominate this western world, he returns to form and begins gathering power. He seeks knowledge and attacks the college Minato has started teaching physics and mathematics at. Minato stumbles across him stealing information from students minds (by eating their souls), and tries to intervene.

Koshchey vs Minato — round 1, Koshchey’s victory. Outpaces and overpowers the mortal, even in Sage Mode. Leaves when too much attention is brought on as more people arrive.

In midst of his fleeing, Koshchey abducts Minerva, who is lost and confused, sensing within her great power. She is torn between fighting from the ailment of divine aspects disputing, which allows the Wizard to properly trap her.

Word reaches Zeus/Jupiter, and storms reign supreme over America. Thalia gets a message to Minato, who is determined to save his students and stop the megalomaniac. She was trying to tell Naruto, but Iris interfered at Zeus’ order, hoping that it would postpone a battle between CHB and CJ.

Round 2 — Minato wins by technicality. Koshchey breaks the seals put upon him and flees to double his security now that he knows Minato has teleportation and runic magic at his side.

Minato tracks the Russian Warlock to the Nine Mile Point nuclear power plant, which has been seemingly abandoned. Athena/Minerva, bound by enchanted chains of iron outside tower 1 and suffering from the DID whiplash, warns Minato that the area is radioactive, and too much exposure will kill him. It is strong enough to conceal her power from Olympus, but even Koshchey can’t be near it for long before he starts to deteriorate.

Seeing runic patterns that resemble his seals and other ancient magics he is familiar with because of Hecate, Minato deduces that Koshchey is planning to convert both the goddess and the plant into his own personal power source via an alchemical ritual. He plans to stop it.

Round 3–Cumulates in a Strange vs Dormmamu Time Trap:

“You will go no further.”

“Oh, lookie here. The Scrawny Hero, do you plan to stop me? How well did that go for you the last time?”

“Last time I didn’t have an ace up my sleeve.”

“We’ll see about that.” Koshchey smirks. Slaughters Minato. Turns to leave. Minato stands in front of him. “What?”

“You will go no further.”

“Oh, lookie here. The Scrawny Hero, do—wait.” Koshchey frowns. He recognizes this. He sees the dark seals scrawled around Minato’s exposed left arm. “What…what have you done?! What spell have you cast?!”

“This is no spell. No illusion. Not magic. This is time. Empirical, looped, and endless. You cannot break it.”

“I am Koshchey, mortal fool! I bested the Baba Yaga! I outwitted Death itself! I can do anything!”

Brutal slaying. Minato dies. Koshchey watches him before he makes to leave, but again Minato is in front of him.

“You will go no further.”

“Impossible. No mortal, Wizard or God can manipulate time in this way!”

“Perhaps.” Minato conceded. He gave a friendly grin. “But who ever said I was mortal?”

The Bluff works.

“Then I will have two sources of deic power!” Koshchey sneers.
