Free - Simple Rain Particles with Splash. Script, Sound and Button - for VRChat Worlds

Hi! I made a custom rainfall particle script for my Chill World, and thought I'd give away the script free to anyone who wants it. Woohoo!

What:

• Two simple Unity particle scripts that works well in VRChat.
• Rain falls down randomly and circle splash particles appear when it hits a surface like a roof, ground plane, etc.
• I added a button and a rain sound to the prefab

Contents:

• Andron827_Rain Folder
  • RAIN by ANDRON827 (main prefab)
  • Prefabs Folder
    • Rain (the falling rain particles)
    • Splash (the splashy circles)
  • Scripts Folder
    • Rain Button Udon Graph Program Asset (yep)
  • Sounds Folder
    • andron827_rain.mp3
      (you can replace this with another sound if you want)
  • Tex folder
    • 512z512 72dpi.png (circle texture)
    • splash.mat (material for said texture)

Instructions:

• Download the Simple_Rain_by_Andron.unitypackage (781k)
• Create a new Udon world or open your existing project in VCC. You can also (still) use UnityHub with the latest VRCSDK3 and Udon.
• Drag the unity package into your project
• Open the Andron827_Rain folder
• Drag the RAIN by ANDRON827 cube prefab into your hierarchy. Everything is there.
• Put the button wherever you want in your world to turn the rain on and off. Add a material, resize, or such as you like.
• Position the Rain prefab wherever you want, edit accordingly.

Example mods:

• By default the rain takes up about 3m x 3m - If you want it bigger, change the 3d Start Size and Shape Scale to your liking.
• Default Max Particles is 1000. Simulation speed is 1. Change these and other values to customize your rain :)
