Her origins are unknown to her. Inside Iris’ mind, she has simply woken up one day with the same age and features she has now, being tightly embraced by a bulky piece of armor and even if the steel was cold and dusty, something about it felt familiar and cozy as if it was protecting and cradling her. With no memory as to why she was there or what had happened, Iris longed for to feel more of this familiarity as she touched the armor and her powers called back the soul of her protector, attaching it to the armor allowing it to move freely even if there was no physical body. That was the first time Iris used her Soul Caller powers after her awakening, it was a unique experience and very much new to her but it wasn’t enough to allow the first soul she called to speak, so even if the man knew who he and Iris were, he couldn’t talk to her, but in his heart, it was enough to be able to be close and protect her again and Iris was able to feel this warmth from him, their connection was strong and she wanted to understand why, so it was clear to her at that moment, she had to look for her own self, what she used to be and decide who her new self wanted to become and for that, she would need to travel the festered world using her Soul Caller powers to fend for herself and gather all the shards of memories and purpose she could find
