In a world engulfed by war, most leave their homes to try and make a living fighting as mercenaries, even if such is not a role for everyone, the lack of work in other places and poverty make it the only option specially for people who own no land nor trade. Dawn was no different, she started mercenary work to be able to feed her little siblings, with their parents long gone, it fell to her the duty but she didn’t had any option and so the battlefield was the only answer. At first she was terrible, of course, and almost died many times but every single one of those, Dawn would cling to her life with all her might and gladly was always able to get back home bringing a bit of money. Years passed, Dawn became absurdly better, she is as strong as a runic-bear and nimble as a lynx, and without really pledging allegiance to any particular side, she became know as the slithering shadow because her enemies can only see her shadow moving around the battlefield while she skillfully slashes through their ranks without a single glimpse of hesitation
