Surprise! Podcastémon is evolving, with Chris, Kevin, and Justin tackling the ongoing Pokémon Horizons anime series! Frankly, we just really needed something to break up Ash's Johto filler streak. Also, we keep hearing this series is actually really good, and we want to experience it as it's running.

So, Podcastémon Horizons will see us watching 3 or 4 episodes of Horizons and coming here to talk about it with you in each episode. Whereas with the original series we have vague ideas of where things go, we have no clue where Horizons will end up. We're quite a ways ahead as of the time of this writing, and we've been having a great time with it so far. If you've been keeping up with the anime and want to hear our thoughts, or perhaps have been on the fence about watching it and want to experience it through us first, this watchalong podcast will make you feel...something.

Of course, with the introduction of Podcastémon Horizons, we will be shifting our release schedule somewhat. The main plan is that each month will see at least one episode of the main Podcastémon series releasing on one Monday, and then an episode of Podcastémon Horizons releasing 2 weeks later. This way we can keep an even keel with both series while also leaving some room for other non-Pokémon audio content for our $10 Patrons.
