Asking people, learning plans

So I posted first 3 chapters of the possible future project, book with a working name of Admin. My congratulations for all the people who guessed what this book would be about.

As for the possible plans for the book, I guess, those 3 chapters gave a pretty good rough feel of what this book would be about - the plot, the humor, the pacing - but just in case I will reitirate, that this planned book would follow the usual pattern - 18 chapters ahead on Patreon, ranging by Tiers, with chapters that are 18 part behind the newest one being posted for free (I guess, spacebattles, sufficientvelocity, inkstone, royal road, wattapad and fictionpress, God, I have too much accounts). But before talking about it - let's talk about 'if it makes sense to do so.'

Do you actually want me to continue writing it? And if you do, how much?

I mean, FGO coming to an end of the Arc 1, and though it would make some time, it would happen, and as I reitirated time after time, yes, I do plan to continue writing it, but I will need a break, a rest after writing it. A break from Fate entirely. And so, I want to write a new bigproject after FGO. One is DxD, and the other one? Well, there is Admin possibility.

Writing is my main source of revenue, so, unfortunately, I can't orient ONLY on the creative desires, but also on the commercial side of things before commiting for a BIG project such as Admin, a pretty big cycle of books planned. So, I want to run a vote, but more like a questionnaire to learn the mood and desires of the people reading it. Please, answer this one out, and answer it sincerely - or else it might lead to a financial troubles, they would affect my writing in the future. So I need to know - are people interested in it, or I better look for another possible project.

There are no end date for this questionnaire as I just want to learn the mood of my readers. If somehow you want to choose 2 options? Choose the one you find the closest to the truth.

Admin is ok, but i read so many stories with the ROB plot that i am tired.

Overlord and FGO were why I joined, but I wasn't too interested in the DxD. I plan on skipping DxD and throwing my hopes into Admin.

It's hard to branch out from what your audience is used to. Personally, I think smaller original projects would be a good introduction to your style and ideas. Sprinkle in short stories in between the projects that your audience is mainly interested in. I've read So It Is Done, Overlord DxD, and Overlord FGO, and all of them are pretty good, so I'm hopeful about the Admin project.

Also, I'm staying on this train, whether Admin goes forward or something else does.

I joined for FGO and DxD, but Admin looks good, conceptually, at least. Of course, I think a better focus on player POV makes a lot of sense. And I think Zero would get better and better at accommodating and creating the game, meaning the players' POV would be even better. However, I don't know if I'd prefer it over something else lined up. I'd have to be informed via a chapter of whatever it is to know for sure.

I agree with this guy I’ll definitely look forward to more admin

I also joined for overlord. Before you read this, i’m not shitting on it as it genuinely looks interesting, these are just things I’m looking at and going “nah no way is this gonna fly”. Admin looks cool but even with his “limiter” still on he’s kind of… dumb. Missing way too many steps. You should employ some kind of time dilation effect due to accelerated thinking or something as right now he’s literally just a dude who knows shit about making a game using the ai to do everything. Right now it looks like when someone mentions something he’s like “oh shit i forgor, better add that later”. In my honest opinion this story should be told primarily from the pov of players and other people. Few people would be as interested in the development of a game rather than playing said game. As it stands now it just him blitzing to create literally anything and fix shit he forgot to do, and i don’t see it changing at all for a while since he literally had a week to cobble something together. If what is shown from the players perspective just from character creation alone, i’d probably drop the game for a while irl. I get my guy is working with not even the bare bones of something, but short, infrequent time skips would be to your favour here. He should theoretically be able to accomplish quite a lot in a week since he’s “the world’s most powerful AI”. All in all it looked interesting, probably take a bit longer editing the chapters even if it delays updates by a day or two (quality rarely loses to quantity). Regardless of whether this comment is taken seriously or not, I’ll be following this story and withhold my judgement on it until its got a bit more depth to it.

I joined because of overlord, and stayed because of the writing. The admin project seems like fun.
