Also, I know with stuff like Patreon and other "content creator subscriptions" some people feel like they're owed a, like, particular volume of content, and these sites are set up to offer all the incentives and shit. But like, I come from a family of artists, that's not how creative stuff works. When I throw my (admittedly piddly) couple of dollars a month at the few folks whose art I really vibe with, it's because I want to help give them the freedom to follow their creative juices towards whatever cool thing gets them going. Because that's always going to be something more exciting and amazing than something they're grinding out to meet some obligation. So like, you do you man, the right people will stick around for the ride. 🙂

I definitely do the shut down / avoid thing too. Just don't do the dumb guy thing of trying to shoulder it all yourself, by yourself.
