The beautiful thing about this anime is that yes deku is the main character but the story isn't just about him. He inspires his other classmates just like his other classmates inspires him and the standout personalities in the group really have individual strong characteristics that inspire the rest of their class in some way. Bakugo is brash and aggressive and seemingly one track minded, but if you pay attention moving forward you'll start to see that he's really not a one-dimensional character. He has intellect, combat skills, strategy, intelligence, adaptation, speed, instinct and believe it or not, leadership qualities that inspire the other classmates. But he's also a kid with anger issues that doesn't know how to focus them into something positive right now that has been told all his life he's better than anyone else. That would make most people develop the inflated ego and inferiority complex that his character struggles to overcome or even comprehend at this stage.
