!FIXED! 46 - MKNAOMI and 70 Years of Bioterror

Tonight we present a (fixed, thanks Phil!) tragicomedy in 4 acts.

Act 1: Devils Tearing Your Life Away

Unit 731, bioweapons in the Korean War, the origins of MKNAOMI.

Act 2: Far Out

MKNAOMI’s evolution, human experiments, near-catastrophes, lies, damned lies, and the lying liars who tell them.

Act 3: The Mindblowers

A brief digression to discuss the US Army’s BZ psychochemical weapon, its use in Vietnam, and more human experimentation.

Act 4: Apocalypse Now

Contemporary developments in the world of biowarfare, lab leaks, human engineered diseases and weird science, the legacy of MKNAOMI, and what the future might hold if we don’t get our shit together.

Thanks for this, I hate sleeping anyway.

My dude is on to something, Pretty much exactly what they did around the Xiangfang, Xuanjia, Pingfang, Jioujia, Nüjia, Ralin, Beiyinhe, and Anjia stations. They also started handing out new "passports" for these areas and any one caught without one or an old one, or one not for that area could be taken away, the whole area became like an enclosed ghetto without the costs of concentration.

The Return Of The Repressed

I don’t recall if I’ve mentioned this before, but Fredericksburg MD, a small city that is the closest municipality to Fort Dietrich, has an abnormally robust, and well tended homeless population. I used to visit a friend there, and she told me that the city had exceptionally liberal services for the homeless. At the time I just thought, “wonderful! That’s so nice of them.” But now I can’t help but wonder if the scientists at Dietrich don’t appreciate having a large, disposable, probably largely unattached pool of “volunteers” for whatever the fuck they’re up to.

Thanks, I need to go lie down now.
